Pumpkin Pickin'

A full year has gone by since the annual reunion of the pumpkin patch crew. This is one of our favorite family traditions. We have been anxiously waiting for the leaves to begin to change color and the pumpkins to begin to grow. This year we were also holding our breath as the days leading up to our annual pumpkin picking tradition passed...would the Finnestad's be joining us this year?? Baby Jonathan should be arriving soon and we are thrilled to meet him, but...we really wanted the Finnestads to be with us!! So I have to send a special thank you to Jonathan for waiting to come...any time now buddy, we are all ready to see you!

November can be filled with rain here in Washington so we were blessed to have a sunny day to find the perfect pumpkin, run through the corn maze, slide down the mountain of wood chips and play with our friends.

You got some great pictures of the kids Jen! And yes, we were so happy to get to come. Still haven't carved our pumpkins yet - what about you? Yesterday we had the kids' school conferences which marked the end of the things we had hoped to get to before Jonathan arrived. So we are right there with you...any day now buddy!

It was fun hanging out with you guys this weekend. Those are the best memories!

It really was such a great day, I am soooo glad we have that tradition! We'd better still be doing it when our kids are teenagers! :-D

Emma is so pretty in that first picture of just her (with the animals), SO PRETTY! And I'm so glad we got the all girls, all boys, and whole crew shots!!!
