We LOVE our Grandma and Grandpa!

Today was one of the best Grandma/Grandpa days ever! First going to the park with Grandma then enjoying the lake with Grandpa. Could life get any better then this??

If you can't climb it...smell it!

Emma's first performance

Just look at my little ballerina.

Isn't she just the cutest?

After a full year of dance class Emma was more then ready for her recital. She has been counting down the days and had a hard time waiting for her stage time. She and her friend Juliana performed a tap dance-"Dancing with my Teddy bear" and a ballet dance- "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". The auditorium was packed with standing room only and at least 750 in the crowd. Thanks to a couple of friends with awesome zoom camera's we have wonderful pictures to treasure.

At the end of the show Daddy did a dance too! He has been going to dance class for the last couple of months just to get his groove on. I must say that he did awesome! Front handspring and all. Then he had some time to do the Father Daughter dance. He couldn't have been more proud to be dancing with his little girl.

Fathers day adventure

Every year Daddy gets to pick what activity he gets to do with his special children for fathers day. This year he decided that he wanted to go hiking! The kids were super, duper excited. We had a great time. I got stung in the head by a bee but other then that we had an injury free day.

My dad was able to join us and I was able to celebrate fathers day with my dad as well. Awesome.

My favorite part of the day...During the hike I was struggling with my camera (just as I have been for weeks). I even went so far as to say "this camera needs to be thrown in the garbage!" It wasn't focusing, and taking really bad pictures. At the end of the hike, my dad asks to take our family picture. He takes 2 snapshots and tell me that there is a smudge on the lens. So Yea! My camera is fixed and should start taking good pictures again. I felt so stupid...but my dad is so smart!

He's out of there!

Austin is done with first grade! To celebrate the end of the year he walked with the rest of his school to Lake Wilderness Park for his first field day. Yep- I could hardly believe it. The entire school (except for preschoolers and kindergartners) walked about 1 mile to the park.

He loved playing with all of his friends and I loved being able to go and watch the fun. Even Emma and Kadin were able to go and see how cool school is!

Game time!

My darling husband enjoys playing softball. He has played on our church team for the last 8 years and loves every minute of it. I love the fact that he gets to play with the guys and comes home a happy man. This year I haven't been able to go to many games. Most games are late night from 8:30 to 11:00 pm. But tonight we were able to go and cheer him on.

Kevin is a 3rd baseman at heart. He LOVES 3rd base. But for the last couple of weeks he has been pitching. And as it turns out...he is rather good at it!

Not a home run this time...but it did get him to second base!

Score one for the team!

Just too cute not to post

The kids love doing a "victory lap" after the game. We didn't tell them that they lost the game.
