Who let the dogs out?!

Don't forget to turn the volume up!!!

Bed time

My children love to have bed time with daddy. The most wonderful part is that I get to sit back and relax while daddy gets the teeth brushed, jammies on, diaper changed, story read, and kids tucked in. All I have to do is go upstairs to kiss and say goodnight.

I am married to such a wonderful man.

My children have the best daddy.

Can you imagine what 4 will look like??

Spring!

Yea! Spring has arrived. We have been a little confused because of the snow, rain, and freezing temperatures but the calender tells us that it really is here.

To celebrate we went to the zoo with the family. Thankfully, Lisa and Gabe were able to join us on short notice (about 30 minutes) and we had several hours of fun together. We loved trying to keep track of them amongst the many other children and watching them run around as fast as they could. I actually think that they liked running more then the liked seeing the animals!

Mommy, can we keep him??

This is an excerpt from a conversation that Emma and I had in the car on the way home today.

We just passed a homeless man on the street corner...

Me-"He doesn't have a home..."

Emma- "Where does he sleep?"

Me- "I don't know...we can help him by giving him some food to eat."

Emma- "We could bring him home and keep him."

Me- "Don't you think it would be good to give him some food?" (do you hear me trying to redirect at this point???)

Emma- "I know!!! We can put some food outside and he will smell it and come to live at our house"

The conversation did continue but at this point all I could think about was that Emma NEEDS a DOG!

Bunkin' up

The boys get to share a bedroom!! After searching high and low on craigslist we found an affordable bunk bed. It was a screaming good deal at $100.00 for the bunk bed, 2 mattresses (in great condition), memory foam mattress covers, sheets sets, a duvet, and a duvet cover! It did, however, require a little elbow grease as you can see from the before and after pictures...

They LOVE it!!!

Big brothers... Big sister!

This week Austin, Emma, and Kadin found out that they are going to have a new little brother or sister! They are all thrilled and can't stop talking about it (Well, Kadin isn't quite ready to give up the baby status and doesn't really want to discuss it!!! I'm sure that has nothing to do with his limited vocabulary...)

Austin had been asking for a new little one for quite a while and he couldn't be happier. He told his best friend, James, on the phone yesterday and was quick to announce that if it is a boy we will be naming him Jonathan, and if it is a girl we will be naming her Emma. As you can guess, there are most likely NOT the names we will by choosing!

I think that Emma has known for a while now. Several weeks ago she kissed my belly and said "I kiss baby!". She is not the only one that had a little bit on intuition going...her best friend, Josiah, was just asking his mom when Mrs. Currey's new baby was going to come out! All of this when I was trying SOOO hard not to let my growing belly show.

One of the questions that I hear multiple times per hour is "WHEN is the BABY coming out mom..." I am thankful that we are almost half way there and will only have to hear that question about 3000 more times in the next 20 weeks!
