Happy Birthday to my 30 something husband! Our kids LOVED counting out all those candles for you...those many, many candles! I love you.

tub time

Mayla has joined the big girls. Her cord fell of when she was 6 days old (a record in our house) and she is ready for her first real bath. First bath day is a big day for everyone...and of course we got TONS of pictures! As you can see she liked the warm water and took the opportunity to make some fun faces and even nap a little.

First Doctor Visit

Our sweet new daughter went to her first doctors visit today. She is 4 days old already. I have always loved the first visit for many reasons. First...no shots! But more then that I love finding out how much weight our tiny babies have lost and hearing the Dr tell me that they are healthy don't have any concerns. Today was wonderful. Mayla is doing great! She weighs 7 lbs. 15 oz. and is a very strong and healthy little girl. Her doctor had no worries or concerns...which makes mommy and daddy VERY HAPPY!

And a tip...the best way to entertain other siblings while at the doctors office is to have them hide from the doctor. This time they hid behind the exam table... and they loved every minute of the game! (If you have a good doctor they will play along which is even more fun... "Where are you? I can't find you guys!")
